These following joint symptoms are clues to RA:
- Joint pain, tenderness, swelling or stiffness for six weeks or longer
- Morning stiffness for 30 minutes or longer
- More than one joint is affected
- Small joints (wrists, certain joints of the hands and feet) are affected
- The same joints on both sides of the body are affected
- Along with pain, many people experience fatigue, loss of appetite and a low-grade fever.
Gout:
A form of arthritis characterized by severe pain, redness and tenderness in joints.
Pain and inflammation occur when too much uric acid crystallizes and deposits in the joints.
Symptoms of gout include severe pain, redness and swelling in joints, often the big toe. Attacks can come suddenly, often at night.
Plantar fasciitis :
Plantar fasciitis disorder results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. The pain is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest. The person may experience pain very frequently which is brought on by bending the foot and toes up towards the shin and may be worsened by a tight Achilles tendon. The Plantar fasciitis grow very slowly, but pain is their from start of the disease. As per medical research In the world every third person experience pain in their both legs.
The causes of this disease are not entirely clear. But, Risk factors include overuse such as from long periods of standing, an increase in exercise, and obesity. It is also associated with inward rolling of the foot and a lifestyle that involves little exercise.
The diagnosis of Plantar fasciitis is typically based on signs and symptoms. Ultrasound sometimes used to understand the status of disease. Other conditions with similar symptoms include osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, heel pad syndrome, and reactive arthritis.
Calcaneal Spur :
A calcaneal spur (or heel spur) is very less known disease. This disease is usually a bony outgrowth from the calcaneal tuberosity (heel bone). Calcaneal spurs are typically detected by a radiographic examination (commonly referred to as an “x-ray”). The calcaneal spur is come into picture when a foot is exposed to constant stress or calcium deposits build up on the bottom of the heel bone.
Although heel spurs are often painless, they can cause heel pain. They are frequently associated with plantar fasciitis, a painful inflammation of the fibrous band of connective tissue (plantar fascia) that runs along the bottom of the foot and connects the heel bone to the ball of the foot.
